  • 2026-2027: Member of the Area Advisory Committees (Comissões Assessoras de Área - CAAs) responsible for structuring, developing, and revising the ENADE at the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (INEP), a federal government agency, Brazil. Ordinance No. 794 of 18 December 2025. In this activity, Lesandro contributes, along with other professors, to the overall design of the exam that is applied to students at Brazilian universities and that serves as the basis for evaluating the quality of teaching in courses and universities across the country.

  • 2023-2025: Consulting on Industrial Property Prospecting for the Provost's Office of Research and Graduate Studies at PUC Minas. This work involved producing informational materials on brand, patents and software registration, as well as institutionalizing a prospecting process for undergraduate programs, research projects, and graduate programs at the university. Partly as a result of this work, Sociedade Mineira de Cultura, the mantainer of PUC Minas, achieved for the first time a position among the 50 largest Brazilian depositors of computer programas in the year of 2024; with 39 software applications registered during that year the university achieve 14th position on the nacional rank. Also as a result of this activity, the following year the university rose to 6th place nationally in the number of computer program deposits made throughout 2025, totaling 64 registrations. At the end of 2025, Lesandro relinquished leadership of this activity when he took a leave of absence from the university.

  • 2020-2025: Developed test items for the National Student Performance Exam (ENADE) at the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (INEP), a federal government agency, Brazil. In this activity, Lesandro worked on creating questions that, together with those created by other developers, form a confidential question bank maintained by the Brazilian government. From this bank, questions are selected for use in the exam that evaluates the performance of Brazilian students, courses, and universities.
